Meet Alisha Moreno, our Intake Coordinator at the Maryland Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MD PTAC). Alisha is a vital link and support to our MD PTAC clients and is our primary administrative and programmatic support to our team and director, Denise Warner. Alisha coordinates all MD PTAC’s administrative activities, supports our outreach events, and manages our outstanding team of student employees.
Alisha brings 16 years of administrative support and coordination experience to MD PTAC. She has held imperative administrative assistant, office manager, executive assistant, and administrative coordinator roles at the University of Maryland and, most recently, the Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group. In these roles, Alisha was known for her interpersonal communication skills and proven ability to maintain confidentiality, exercise independent judgment, and work with all leadership levels, team members, external vendors, and collaborators. She excels at managing large, evident projects for her team, exercising extreme attention to detail, strategic thinking, and effective communication.
When Alisha isn’t supporting our clients and team at MD PTAC, you can find her: hiking a local trail, attending a UMD or professional sporting event, attending a concert, taking a foodie tour, or hosting a dining experience for her friends and family!
