Pamela Minor currently serves as a Maryland PTAC Procurement Specialist. Ms. Minor has been a part of our program since 2016, and her primary area of assistance lies in Prince George’s and Charles Counties. A former graduate of the 8a contract vehicle with an entrepreneurial spirit, Pam is very well suited to working within the small business and government-contracting arena. Since joining the PTAC Pam has serviced 105 clients and done over 138 counseling hours. Mrs. Minor also has a wide array of experience in:
Mrs. Minor has not only worked in management positions for Amewas, Inc. and Chenega Federal System, LLC. she also had created her own technology startup, Infotek. Infotek built business critical solutions that support the enterprise and mission critical systems for government contracts both DoD and civilian agencies. Having created and managed successful tech startups gives Mrs. Minor a depth of knowledge in this specific realm of small business.

Mrs. Minor has been certified as an SBA 8a firm, WOSB and MBE. Pam has a wealth of knowledge in procurement opportunities for minorities, women and small businesses as a result of these certifications. Additionally, as a small business owner she participated in the DoD Mentor-Protégé program and held the Navy Seaport-E contract vehicle.
Pam has held several positions in information technology and systems design. In her position with Lockheed Martin, Mrs. Minor was Senior Systems Engineer responsible for database architecture and database systems. During her time with Lockheed, Mrs. Minor also was the inventor and patent holder of the Integrated Smart Hazard Assessment and Response Planning System and Method for a DoD vessel. Mrs. Minor has also provided Information Technology along with Management Services and Support to mid-size/Fortune 500 companies as the owner of Infotek. At InfoTek, she became well versed in the Oracle Database Platform and PL/SQL programing language.
