Richard Paden currently serves as a Maryland PTAC Procurement Specialist. Mr. Paden has been a part of our program since 2014, and his primary area of assistance lies in Howard, Prince George’s and Montgomery Counties. During a career spanning over 30 years Mr. Paden has identified, qualified and conducted capture management and key personnel recruiting for numerous multi-year government contract awards. Since joining the PTAC Richard has serviced 500 clients, done over 3,000 counseling hours, and assisted his clients in winning 53 contracts totaling over $18 million. Sales & Sales Management:
Mr. Paden’s has had over a decade of experience working in management and sales positions at different firms and companies. Richard has been affiliated with Idea Integration, SI International Inc., Ciber Inc. and Control Data Corporation. He also has federal sales experience with Cullinet Software Inc., Cincom Systems Inc.
Small Business Owner:
As a small business owner of Government Sales and Marketing Consultants Inc. (GSMC), Mr. Paden helped new companies acquire new business from the Federal Government. GSMC’s area of expertise included sales, marketing and new business projections. Richard was also the President and Founder of Systems Design and Analysis, which functioned as a professional services firm.
Mr. Paden has been recognized for his leadership skills by receiving several awards during his experience in high positions of sales and sales management. Those awards and accolades include Top Gun Sales Manager of the year, Salesman of the Year and two-time winner of the Shark Award amongst many others. In addition, Mr. Paden has held several security DoD clearances.
