Michigan lawsuit challenges Biden vaccine mandate for federal contract employees

A new federal lawsuit filed in Michigan Tuesday joins others across the nation challenging the constitutionality of the President Joe Biden administration’s vaccine mandate, tentatively scheduled to begin taking effect Jan. 10.
The lawsuit, filed by 11 federal contract employees, including six from Michigan, accuses the Biden administration mandate of forcing “virtually everyone who works for a federal contractor or subcontractor — even if they do not work in connection with a federal contract — to receive an emergency-use-only vaccine or else lose their jobs.”
