Opting in does not obligate you to participate.Proposal Submission SystemAll applicants must submit proposals using the Proposal Submissions Electronic Handbook (EHB). Please visit sbir.gsfc.nasa.gov/submissions/login to log in and access resources to help you get started.Proposal Submission Tips
For a more successful proposal, we recommend:
Taking a look at this year’s Noteworthy Changes, such as funding to travel to the annual Innovation & Opportunity Conference and the Phase I STTR Pilot Purchase Card Program for reducing the time it takes to provide payments to awardeesIdentifying the appropriate Focus Area and Subtopic that your innovation falls within
The new subtopic “pointers” indicate subtopics that are asking for related technologies—review the pointers to ensure you propose against the most relevant subtopic
Checking out the Firm Templates to familiarize yourself with required formsBeing clear and specific in explaining how your idea will work and how it can be commercializedReviewing additional resources on the sbir.nasa.govwebsiteStarting the process as early as possible!
Be sure to review the Certifications and Other Proposal Information section and start the SBA and SAM registration processes early
