The Maryland Procurement Technical Assistance Center (MD PTAC) opened its doors in 2002 in an effort to assist the Defense Logistics Agency's (DLA) Procurement Technical Assistance Program in expanding the number of businesses capable of participating in government contracting. The Procurement Technical Assistance Center is funded in part through a cooperative agreement with the Department of Defense.
